Carlton pools is the worst company I have ever dealt with! They do not provide good customer service whatsoever and lie to people. Their sales associate lied to us about so many things and when we confronted him he hung up the phone. Their company never completed anything they said on time but always expected payment. Their main point of contacts knew nothing about the pool and never returns... Read more

Carlton pools installed a pool for us in 2007. Although they were very slow during the process I also had some concerns when the side wall dirt caved in on the stones prior to shooting the gunite. I was told do not worry this pool will last forever. now in 2013 we had major cracking in the wall under the waterfall. Carlton started to do a patch job but stopped midway. The problem seems that... Carlton Pools - Tiles Feel Off and Pool Discolored Due to Poor Workmanship
1 of 10

Having pool tiles removed and new ones placed plus acid wash today and tomorrow at a cost of over $5000. I have MANY pictures where the original tiles never made full contact with the mastic and simply fell off. Also, the poor quality of the marble dust used in the construction is evident in the mottling and staining. I've had to drain pool, pay for removal of loose tiles, install new tiles and... Read more

The dam wall between the main pool and the spa keeps losing tiles. We had it repaired when the pool was 4 years old, cost $1200, Carlton wanted $2100. They accept no responsibility. The worst part is no one discussed with us the possibility that this could happen. We wanted the spa separate from the pool but the salesman gave reasons why it was a bad idea... separate pump, more piping, etc. ... Read more

Not only does Carlton leave important things out of their "competitive bidding" process, such as the cost of excavation, water, and electric, but their service is horrible. No one at the top is accountable, and they are unresponsive. They use horrible electricians who never return to complete service. We started the process of having a pool installed in May of 2012. They were supposed to start in... Read more

Having a pool built by Carlton, it was natural for me to call their office when I experienced an issue with the heater this summer. Besides not fixing the problem completely, requiring another company fixing it properly, they charge $218 per hour!!! Disgrace!!! It is an absolute outrage that anyone in their right mind would charge these types of rates to work on a heater, and obviously do not... Read more

Carlton Pools - Carlton Pool does not live up to their promises of replairing pools legally.

We had Carlton install our pool in 2005 in 2008in cracked in 2009 it cracked and leaked Carlton said use the pool over the summer we'll chip out the cracks next spring, they did ,but they also put paper bags in the repair areas then putting a thin layer of cement over them. Plaster guys were taping the repairs to mare sure they were solid when the hammered through them thus stopping our pool... Read more

We had a concrete swimming pool built the summer of 2004. Price was $31,228.00 and we paid cash. It came with a "Limited Lifetime Transferable Warranty" which was one of the reasons we chose Carlton not to mention their pool quality comparison chart documenting that they offer wide shoulders & sidewalls, deep frost beams, thick shotcrete at stress points and 4000 psi certified concrete. The... Read more

Carlton pools is the worst company to use. Their workmanship *** and they don't back it up. They didn't complete the backfilling properly and concrete is falling into ground. They have unprofessional staff. Even coowner Joe Solano said to just Sue them they wont fix it. They don't answer their phones or return phone calls. They make you feel like your the crazy one.
